This syrup is so easy to make and can be served alongside a multitude of Middle Eastern sweets and desserts.
Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar
1 cup water
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp rose water
1 tbsp orange blossom water

- In a medium saucepan, combine water and sugar and slowly increase heat from low to medium to melt sugar, without stirring.
- Once the mixture starts to bubble, add lemon juice. It will start to thicken within a few minutes. Continue to boil.
- After the mixture has started to thicken, add rose and orange blossom waters.
- Boil for another 10 minutes or so, remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Serve with your favorite Middle Eastern pastries!
